Hungary – Heritage

It’s April of 2021 and Day 08 of the A to Z challenge. This year, I am doing the theme – “Travel the World.” I am visiting countries from A to Z and presenting stories with 8 line poems.

Day 08 Country: Hungary

I am talking about the country’s capital – Budapest, which strengths in commerce, finance, media, art, fashion, research, technology, education, and entertainment, etc. Because of several monuments of classical architecture, Budapest’s central area, along with the Danube river, is classified as World Heritage Site. From as ancient times as Roman to contemporary, Budapest has architecturally noteworthy buildings in an extensive range. Shown in the figure is the famous Chain Bridge.

Poem:

You build the walls,
Put in windows,
Art and craft,
Design and dwell.
Every soul,
That reaches there,
Gives then the definition,
Of completeness.

We all go places, to take a part and leave behind a part. Completeness is a foolish word, for truly, it might never be.

  1. Fabukous photo fo Chain Bridge! My Best Fried is from Budapest originally & she told me so many stories of her homeland. It is an amazing country!
And personally I LOVE Hungarian food, lol…
Prakash your poem is very lyrical & spiritual. It goes with Hungary the country so well.
