My, Mine, Song

gray-heart-love-symbol

I have a song,
My mind hymns it,
My heart dances it.

I don’t have a tune,
Which I can express,
But it’s there,
I can feel it,
I can label it.

The song of chaotic,
The song of breeze,
Like in rejoice,
Air breathes it.

That song, the one I have,
It is a song,
For its lyrics update,
Every single day,
The way I change.

That one song,
Which I am yet to tag,
World might name it,
The song of my life!

A Conversation

Written for daily post prompt: Circle

circle

Me: Hey Circle!
Circle: Hello You!

Me: I want to write something about you. Any tips?
Circle: Explain my geometry!

Me: Na!  Too lame!
Circle: Talk about my features

Me: No one would be interested
Circle: Talk me as a metaphor. Talk about the circle of life. About good and bad things and how they circle!

Me: Many others are writing about it. Poems too. I want this to be unique. Any other suggestions?
Circle: Talk about reinventing the wheel. How the old changes to new and generation celebrates the old. It’s all a cycle!

Me: That’s not as interesting as well. I want something quick, something neat.
Circle: Color me!

Me: Oops! < …Silence… >

Me: Hey Circle!
Circle: Hello You!

Me: I want to write something about you. Any tips?

Don’t Be Surprised!

Dear Me,

person-icon

One fine day, someone might take your photograph, crop and edit a few things and share it saying you have a cancer asking people to like and comment. Don’t be surprised. Just like you liked a photo shopped snake with three heads, you will have to like this too!

One fine day, someone will start spreading all bad things about you. You might never know how they will convert one of your treasured memories to a rumor that will burn you right from heart to mind. Don’t be surprised. You will have to accept your story just like you believed and accepted someone else’s story.

One fine day, you will hear bad stories about your favorite hero. You might not easily trust them. You will start searching for things which say, that was not the truth. Sit back and think, was your behavior the same when you heard bad stories about someone whom you did not like. Don’t be surprised!

* * * * *

One fine day, one who made you smile, will make you cry. Accept it the same way, the very same way you accepted the smile. Don’t be surprised. You are crying only because back then, you had smiled.

dreams

One fine day, you will feel alone. You will feel there is no one for you and you are on your own. All your thoughts get trapped. You will feel a few things have started making sense at the moment which once did not. Don’t be surprised. Everyone goes through this. But not everyone shares it. Intelligent ones know that it is a passing cloud.

One fine day, you will get humiliated. People, who used to laugh at your back, now laugh on your face. Though you show it out with smiling face, you heart sits inside like a questioned monkey. Don’t be surprised. Accept it. You have laughed once too.

One fine day, life will bring you realizations. You will understand what ‘mature’ means and the true essence of it.

One fine day, you will fall in love. Really! Accept with open arms.

Don’t be surprised!

“When you are angry, raise your hands, keep it back on your mouth” Said the leader in his speech.

A hand went up from the crowd and a gun shot was heard leaving behind a dead silence.

Then another hand went up, only to fall down, sinking and splashing in blood.

The Adventures of Tom Sawyer – Book Review

tom-sawyer

A magical piece from Mark Twain.

Tom Sawyer is a naughty kid. A happy go lucky kid. He is going to make a great grandfather having numerous adventurous stories of his own to tell his grand kids.

What a book! What a delight to read! Every page is entertaining. Captures the childhood days elegantly. The books ends wanting one to read more.

Beyond Dreams

Dreams are the most quite things. You don’t talk or think about it a day, they silently disappear. They don’t feel bad even if you don’t touch them on for years. They are the most humble and modest creatures created ever. They prefer low talks. They prefer to stay behind the curtains for a long time. They prefer to show up only when they find meaning.

When we embrace them, they are the most joyful things. They bring the world together. They make one see the most meaningful things of life. Something unexplained, something larger than life.

Dreams are as well dramatic. If we are not talking about them on daily basis, then no else is. They die soon. When they die, the best part is ‘nothing happens’. Nothing changes. No one mourns. Thousands and more die every day. The one thing which everyone is most successful at is killing dreams.

How many have you killed so far? How many can find a life again? If you are not talking about it then no one else is.
