Who Will Educate The Literates?

They have been online for a while now and I have always been ignoring such since then. But lately they all have been extreme and this is not good! Sure not good.

Does this message sound familiar?
All your posts can become public tomorrow. Even the messages that have been deleted or the photos not allowed. After all, it does not cost anything for a simple copy and paste. Better safe than sorry is right. Channel 13 News was just talking about this change in Facebook’s privacy policy. Better safe than sorry. I do not give Facebook or any entities associated with Facebook permission to use my pictures, information, messages or posts, both past and future. By this statement, I give notice to Facebook it is strictly forbidden to disclose, copy, distribute, or take any other action against me based on this profile and/or its contents. The content of this profile is private and confidential information. The violation of privacy can be punished by law (UCC 1-308- 1 1 308-103 and the Rome Statute). NOTE: Facebook is now a public entity. All members must post a note like this. If you prefer, you can copy and paste this version. If you do not publish a statement at least once it will be tactically allowing the use of your photos, as well as the information contained in the profile status updates. DO NOT SHARE. You MUST copy and paste.

LOL. That is how I was at first. LOL.  Seriously? UCC 1-308- 1 1 308-103 and the Rome Statue? And I see so many posting it on their wall. Where is the world going? We are supposed to do mistakes and learn from them. We were educated so. But that does not mean not to use common sense. This is as good as an act performed by someone who does not know to read and write. You don’t even need a fact check to say this is Hoax!

Now look at this another one:
Hi everyone. There is a new hacker on Facebook. He arises between the comments of your contact’s posts, with an offensive comment. It’s really ugly and looks like it came from you. You don’t see him, but your friends do. This can create many offensive misunderstandings. They also post porn pictures. I want to say to all my contacts that if something off color comes up in my name, it is not from me. Copy and paste this on your wall to alert your friends. Please do not share just copy and paste.

Well, what I know is sharing this will not stop it. Not clicking on malicious links and having security features will definitely will. When we will learn to do the things right way? We are just doing things.

How is that one finds happiness by dragging someone down? Is that the new way of being popular? How ridiculous is that?

A popular celebrity posts a picture with lots of food on the table saying ‘Dinner is Served’ on Instagram. Then there are ‘want to be popular ones’ tweeting about it saying, ‘Don’t waste food’, ‘there are many hungry people out there’ etc etc and other hideous messages. For god’s sake that guy runs a charity foundation and feeds the poor. I don’t know how many people those tweeters have fed. The worst part is media people pick this up to make it a breaking news!

Then I read this! There is this promo released for the movie Mohejo Daro. It looks all good. Then this guy for publicity picks up all the unwanted, not necessary details and makes a sarcastic post out of it: It’s so Unbelievably Bad We Are Kinda Dying From Inside. Wow! Is it so essential to write such things just to increase the number of web page hits? The movie is not even released yet. There are thousands of followers for posts from MENSXP. Where are they heading? Really a very cheap publicity!

Film gossips have reached new heights. The breaking news literally breaks the morals and discusses that news which literally does not make sense. People feel happy to pick smallest of details to make a controversy out of it where for all the sake, it even does not matter at all! The worst part is, a thousand and more follow it blindly and spread the message. More stupid the people get more support the media gets and every time they reach the new heights of stupidity. Who will educate about this?

Starting with the spam message circulated in WhatsApp, why do people forward it? Why do people get all impatient if someone sends a candy crush request? Isn’t it just a notification which can be ignored? Why do we swiftly believe that forwarding message to 10 people will recharge an amount? Why do we think that getting a passport still needs an agent? Why can’t we enjoy a movie for ‘two hours and few minutes’ patiently? We always complain and never watch the way movies are meant to be! Why do we make a big fuss of minute issues over social networking sites? Why is breaking news, meaninglessly bad?

Perfectionist persona of the wrong crowd, being followed by increasing many! The technological absurdity. Well, there begins an era of educated illiterates and believe me, the consequences are going to be “down under the earth” many! Oops! Who knows, this post might as well turn into a controversy.

Answer Me Why!

I don’t know why,
Why,
It’s Love and heart!

I see through eyes,
I feel with skin,
I whiff with nose,
I lick with tongue,
I heed with ears,
In love and romances,
I lose my senses.

Still,
Why is it Love and heart?
My heart beats sturdy,
Loudly, impatiently,
When I say ‘love’,
When I demand,
Why is it heart?

From the Research Diaries

Research is quite a long and tedious journey. One thing that keeps the journey exciting is the intermediate deliverable’s. I kind of opt to have them at regular intervals though they directly do not impact my work.

Here are two ebooks which i got completed and published recently which are indirect results of my research.

Ebook 01: Design of a Programmer

design-of-a-programmer-cover-LowRes

Ebook 02: Structures and C

Structures and C - LR

They both are free download and helpful to anyone who is into programming. And happiness is sharing it here!

The Meltdown

Three Line Tales (TLT) is a challenge put forth by Only 100 Words. The Challenge is to write a three line tale for the supplied image.

Here is my take for the Week Nineteen of the challenge:

tltweek19

It was in a competition.

One could clearly notice that it was nothing like before and unusual from the remaining.

The choco blue berry ice cream scoop appearing just like the earth won everyone’s taste buds!

The Fourth Day

This post is written for the Indispire Edition Number 120. Here is the supplied prompt:

Write a love story with no human, animal or any living characters in it!

#LoveChallenge

Day one:
There was a new fountain pen residing on the reading table. The blue pen stand which was vacant once now had a family and ‘boring look’ was not its forte anymore! The pen had moved out from its old family pack of pens to serve its ultimate purpose. There was a sort of disturbed contention. The pen had imaginations. It had words. It was searching for a line of attack to explode.

Day two:
The table had an ink pot.  The flower pot nearby blooming with golden yellow flowers enhanced its beauty. The ink pot winked at the pen nearby and exclaimed, “I see you are thirsty. Go on. Quench your thirst.” The pen smirked and gave an ‘I will do it soon’ stare.

Day Three:
The table had a new book with a few tens of pages. Every time book had a thought, its page got a color.  The book was as clueless as a baby wondering why so many colors and what they make. Among-st all this confusion was also a feeling of soothe and one of the pages went red. Oopsie! There was a color for every emotion!

Day Four:
The pen gulped the ink and crawled towards the paper. It was unclear about how to express all this feeling of placate. With no words to express it just made this symbol on a red turned paper.

fourth day

It was then a question to decide what this expression was. It was unconditional. It was collaboration. It lacked words. Then there was a whisper which echoed ‘love’.

Note: This story is said to be originally scribbled on a parchment thousands of years ago. The characters quill, ink and parchment have been replaced with pen, ink and paper respectively to counterpart to the context.
