2022 – Wrap!

Dear 2022,

Thank you for being the most satisfying year ever! Undoubtedly, this has been a year of travels and nothing but satisfaction, glee and glad’s. I am waiting for Google to send me my travel stats for the year which I am expecting in the first week of Jan 2023. I would want to make a dedicated post on that. I wonder, even if I make a post of highlights, it is going to be longer than my past 5-ish years combined by far.

For the first time I had decided to do monthly resolutions than yearly and it worked like a charm. Each month was a life and a living, everything planned/unplanned, and mostly up and to it. Of-course I failed in some and failed them with distinction. However, for each month I had one common theme – to surprise myself and live life to the fullest. And that, I sure did. For the first time in a long-time completed Goodreads challenge with 25 books, did unexpected amount of travels, made friends for life, made insane progress in research, drafted insane number of words, and did everything that made me happy. Best. Year. Ever. Of all the months, December was the craziest and messiest and I can see that January is already following the trail.

2022, you will be my favorite year and I wish 2023 will make sure that you wont remain one. Of course I will strive hard for it. Resolutions post, coming soon. Insane amount of writing, coming soon!

December – Year End Goals

What an year!! ❤ Definitely one of my best. I guess this year has helped me grow as a person, as a new personality and see world with a new perspective. The monthly resolution has a major role and contribution in it. I skipped November and had no goals. But the month in itself had too many works to do and take over. I will be wrapping up my year in a post soon near to December end. But before we get there, here is what my plan is for rest of the month (15 more days to be specific, rest are free days and I have earned them):

  • Complete 4 course work of PhD and pass the exams
  • Read one more novel to complete the Goodreads challenge of 25 books
  • Take 2 trips (one long and one short)
  • Write and submit 9 papers
  • Write a proposal and work ahead for company
  • Live life the most meaningful way

Of course, all of this with a hectic class schedule of engaging 2 divisions of DSA and the regular life routines.

NaNoWriMo 2022 – Wrap

This was my 7th year of 50K words and 6th year of being an ML. The month had triple activities than usual and a lot of things that I cant even track of. I am happy I met most of my month deadlines and aced them well.

I have also loved my this year’s story and of course it ends with a chapter that reads – “Now who is that who said, love is not everything!!??”

My writing journey had its ups and downs in my word counts and it was just as perfect as the time demanded!
