U Theory in A to Z

It’s April of 2024 and Day 21 of the A to Z challenge. This year I am doing the theme of ‘26 Moments’ on my blog. I plan to pull out A to Z parts from diverse set which are more than just the parts and possibly describe the world of their own.  It can be a wonder, an invention, a community, the philosophy, a thought, a lead, a culture, a design, or basically anything that would make one wonder and ponder on.  26 imperfect petite flashes that are amongst and around us.

My everyday will have a selection, description, an eight line poem followed by an interpretation.

U theory is by Otto Scharmer from MIT, which talks about change management. The core of the theory is about presence and sensing and is a journey of five moments. The shape of U signifies moving downside, the bottom and going up the other side and each of the journeys connects with world outside our institutional thoughts, world that emerges within and bringing new into the world respectively. The journey talks about letting go of what is not essential and letting come of future essentials. Imagine your current self and future best-self, meeting at the bottom and talking to each other. The journey compromises of being in open will, open heart and open mind. Theory U is about transformation and operating from the whole with a blend of thinking, innovation and leading change.

Poem:
Call it a U, Call it a ME
Every theory
Wants the best
Of within and without.
Whatever is the theory
At the end of the day
Its US
And what that us is to us.

There are souls that never stop. It feels like they are wired differently and nothing really bothers and matters to them. They go on to achieve what they dreamed of. I wonder what’s their theory? Letting go and letting come is our definite part of life.

Unicorn

It’s April of 2023 and Day 21 of the A to Z challenge. This year, I am doing the theme legendary creatures from cultures and folklore and an eight line poem along.

Day 21: Unicorn

Culture: Horse like creature from Medieval Bestiaries

Description: Unicorns are horse like, with legs of an antelope, tail of lion and single horn on head. The horn is supposed to be a magical healing horn. They are usually a white horse. The unicorn continues to hold a place in popular culture and it is often used as a symbol of fantasy or rarity.

Unicorn

You believe it or not,
Not,
In the deep,
Across the mountains,
In the sands,
In the faraway land.
But, amongst us,
Also, there are unicorns.

For magic to exist, one must believe that there is magic. As simple as that.

Uber

AtoZ2019U

Its April of 2019 and Day 21 of A to Z Challenge. I am doing Foreign word/phrase a day and 8 line poem for it.

Word/Phrase: uber / über
Language: German
Meaning: to a great or extreme degree, denoting an outstanding or supreme example of a particular kind of person or thing, extreme

Poem:
the light stands far.
then,
the dark circles got darker,
the mind got messier,
the soul descended deeper,
the pieces, now more,
nothing near to uber,
yet.

Interpretation:
We always look for a reason to give up on those things which we really aren’t passionate about (there was no love). No pain is extreme to reach the light of love.
