It’s April of 2023 and Day 12 of the A to Z challenge. This year, I am doing the theme legendary creatures from cultures and folklore and an eight line poem along.
Day 12: Lauma
Culture: Sky spirit from Baltic culture
Description: They are oldest goddesses from the mythology of Lithuanian. They appeared in various forms of animals. They also appeared in combinations of humans and animals or birds. They are often known to have only one eye. They lived in clouds. Their depictions have varied with time (good/bad). They are powerful at the Friday’s of new moon and can cause rains with songs and dances.
There isn’t a story,
That had only good.
There won’t be a story,
With only bad.
Good is hero,
Only because,
We called it so.
Bad, bad!
The goods and bads come in a mix like yin and yang. The way we build is only one way to build.
