This Post is written for the Incredible Blogger Marathon Challenge. The challenge has 10 tasks and this is the fourth one.
IBMC #04: Hunt a Haiku Challenge is a challenge where we are supposed a pick one haiku out of given and provide an interpretation to it. (Check the link for more)
Here goes my prompt:
Haiku I picked:
sweet was the damage,
brutal was the bighearted,
when foul was the world.
Interpretation:
A lot of things happen in an imaginative world. That’s why we have fiction. It’s in this fictional world a damage is sweet. In real, though at outset one might say that the damage is over come, there is this little ‘towards-attachment’ always prevailing in the heart. There are big heart ones who easily mercy the damage and give a second chance. The sweetness comes from that mercy.
In the real world this is how it looks:
Broken heart,
Wet eyes,
Shivering mind,
Oh mankind!
Why so cruel?
Don’t I have free will?
No matter what, one has to move on:
Broken heart, glue it;
Wet eyes, dust it;
Shivering mind, Freeze it;
Oh mankind!
Be kind!
My free will,
I shall stay happy!
Feel free to take up the challenge if interested.
