Day 20 – Toska
Origin: Russian
Meaning: An ache for nothing and everything, all at once. The ache of the soul.
Poem
In bits and pieces, life,
Showed us nothing,
Made us ask every.
And then,
Told us every,
Is really nothing.
We are now
A toska doll!
And when we become a Toska doll, I recommend traveling. Travel and living the moments of nothingness. And nothing is really more supreme than a travel companion who is everything.
Word Pronunciation: tuh-skah
What a wonderful word! I love how single words in other languages can capture so much.

Prakash I appreciate the time you have put into selecting words and then the effort to put feeling in each word via your poetry. I’m sure it was a good challenge for your writing -it is well done.
