Bahamas – Islands and Pink Sand

It’s April of 2021 and Day 02 of the A to Z challenge. This year, I am doing the theme – “Travel the World.” I am visiting countries from A to Z and presenting stories with 8 line poems.

Day 02 Country: Bahamas

Over 700 islands await to be explored in The Bahamas. Ample of them are uninhabited. The popular islands, to name a few, are Harbour Island, New Providence Island, Paradise Island, The Abacos, Andros, Bimini, The Berry Islands, the Southern Bahamian Islands, etc. It is the only place in the world where we can find beaches with pink sand. Harbour Island is known for its pink-sand beaches.

Poem:

The color of the sand,
Tells its history,
The activities,
The living and the creatures,
The mineralogy.
The color of the sand,
With dust and waste,
Unique and ideal.

You will always be surrounded with goods and bad’s. But, stay yourself and unique.
