Zest from A to Z

Its April of 2018 and Day 26 of A to Z Challenge. I am doing ‘Emotion’ a day picked from the bag of life, with an 8 line poem and a thought.

Z is Zest.

The teacher and the learner,
The beauty and the beast,
The true and to-be-true,
The sow and the reap,
The lost and the won,
The days and the dreams,
For everyone, Zest,
Is a mandatory ingredient.

  1. Yes, zest is a mandatory ingredient which enables us to live life to the fullest. Congratulations on completing this challenge; all your entries were well thought through and successfully executed and I thoroughly enjoyed reading each one.

  2. Yes yes yes!! What a great way to end the A-Z challenge Prakash!! I adore the Zest poem……you are right about Zest…if we lose that we lose joy in our lives!
    Great poem my friend.
    Sherri-Ellen 🙂
P.S.: Sorry I haven’t been around. I was very unwell the past 3 weeks between the dental debacle & Flu & Fatigue. I will try to catch up…. ;0

      • Thank you Prakash for the good wishes. I have figured out one of my stomach/digestion meds is causing the nausea. So I have stopped taking it. I also realized that I need to wait 1/2 hour after eating to take my BP med. It is a balancing act for sure.
The gum is still healing & there are 2 ‘points’ on it but I can eat pretty well on that side…nothing hard tho’.
I know you are pretty busy with work; family; home life. I am glad you still find time to write poetry & stories tho’. You are so talented!
