Little ol’ me

Its April of 2017 and Day 12 of A to Z Challenge. I am doing Idiom a day and 8 line poem for the idiom.

Idiom: Little ol’ me

Meaning: read as ‘little old me’. It is a way of referring to one self that is meant to be modest or self-deprecatory, though often fake, attempt to be ironically humble or imply modesty

Poem:
I have no patterns,
I have no plans.
I am celebrated,
For unpredictability,
For disorganization.
Stop looking for logic,
Little ol’ me, my mess,
Randomness.

  1. Little ol’ me. Nice one. As I often bump into people who show fake modesty while they are completely ungrateful. Still, I have no complaints to them for at least it shows care for how it feels others. But realising that actually they are always involved in some mean politics, is heartbreaking. But, that’s how the world makes sense. To learn. To keep learning. And to choose who and what goes with you and why, without choosing or refusing anything.
