Fair and Square

Indian Bloggers

Its April of 2017 and Day 06 of A to Z Challenge. I am doing Idiom a day and 8 line poem for the idiom.

Idiom: Fair and Square

Meaning: doing things correctly, absolute accuracy, honestly and straightforward

Dare not,
To return it back,
What you now possess,
With what you eloped,
Flew away,
My heart.
You stole it anyways,
Fair and square.

You gotta learn to play it right …” !!!! (from The Gambler – truly wise words in that song !!)
