This was the book I had picked to read in March (One of the 2016 bestseller). Here is how it went. I don’t know. May be its my research work and my saturated mind. I just wanted something good to read.
First Page – ehh! Bad grammar, repeated words, poor structured sentences etc. Dropped the book for a week or so.
Next 10 pages – Okay. Feels good.
Till around 100 pages – Okay! Interesting. So far so good.
Till around 150 pages – Yawn, yawn and yawn.
300 pages something – Who cares! Done and dusted. I just blame myself. May be its not my type of book. I really could not understand why the genre mentioned for the book is Mystery and Thriller.
I am quite excited for April to read – When Breath Becomes Air by Paul Kalanithi.
I found it not a mystery and not a thriller………….it was a humongous waste of time.

Bad grammar…biggest put-off! You were quite adventurous to even continue after that. Bravo! 😀

It was only with first ten pages. I don’t know why the first ten pages were not edited. Specially the first page! It was a turn-off!

I have given up on the recent bestsellers …. After seeing 50 shades break records, I have all but given up! Glad to see “When Breath Becomes Air” on your April list – I really hope you enjoy it.

No complains on language. Its only first 10 pages that is badly edited.
I agree. Really. Searching a good book itself a tedious hunt.
I am excited as well. I had enjoyed ‘Tuesdays with Morrie’ and its still in my top list. This looks like something similar. I will sure like it!
