The Dragon of Fume

Written for the Sunday Photo Fiction.

Joe had a little dragon doll which was gifted by his grandfather to play on his tenth birthday.  Joe was very curious about dragons. He kept the dragon on the bed and asked “Grandpa, is it true that dragons existed?  Will the dragon you gave me one day go alive and eat all of us?”

Grandpa replied to the curious questions of Joe that “Dear, history say they did very very long ago. Now they are a mystery. Now they are the ones with which the kids play. They won’t harm you dear!”

Joe had hundred more questions. He started throwing one by one. Grandpa patiently answered all of questions Joe had. He then told him, “You should play. I will sleep a while now.”

They both looked at the dragon toy and where horrified to find out that the “Dragon was Fuming”. There was a fire and fume from the dragon. Joe started screaming for help and grandpa took him in his arms and said “Good Morning Dear. I think even today you had the dragon dream!
